Uday Krishna

Managing Director, Portfolio Management, Strategic Finance and Secondaries

Uday is a Managing Director in the Portfolio Management team at Affirma Capital and is based in Singapore. Prior to joining Affirma Capital, Uday was an Executive Director in the Portfolio Management team at Standard Chartered Private Equity since 2015 where he played a key role in portfolio performance monitoring & improvement, management of third party partnerships, carried interest plan administration and driving investor communications.

Prior to moving into the portfolio management role, Uday was part of SCPE’s India team, based out of Mumbai, and has been involved with SCPE's investment in Endurance Technologies, GMR Airports, Redington India, Powerica and Firepro.

Prior to joining SCPE, Uday worked at Och-Ziff Capital Management as an Investment Analyst covering public equities and private investments and at Merrill Lynch as an Associate in the Investment Banking team, both positions based in India.

Uday has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and Bachelors in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
