Prateek Agarwal

Associate Director

Prateek Agarwal is an Associate Director in the India team for Affirma Capital and is based in Mumbai.

Prior to joining Affirma Capital, Prateek was with Standard Chartered Private Equity since January 2018 and worked on new and existing investments such as Café Coffee Day, Northern Arc Capital and Varun Beverages.

Prior to SCPE, Prateek worked for 2 years in Avendus Capital, a KKR backed mid-market investment bank, where he specialized on transactions in Consumer Goods and Financial Services vertical. He also worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant in Thorogood Associates driving analytics projects for CPG firms.

Prateek has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor of Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani).
