Pirasath is an Associate Director at Affirma Capital focused on sub-Saharan Africa. He is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Prior to Affirma, Pirasath was an Investment Executive at Alpha Investment Group where he was responsible for origination, execution and portfolio monitoring. At Alpha Investment Group, Pirasath lead and successfully concluded anchor investment into Innochill Africa with a partnership with Mexico based Imbera S.A. de C.V., involved in the sale of McDonalds South Africa and investments in IT, property and acqua-culture industries in sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to Alpha Investment Group, he was a Senior Associate at Standard Bank’s Corporate Finance Division – M&A external advisory, where he advised on a number of FMCG, beverages, apparel, and manufacturing transactions including for Colgate Palmolive, Woolworths Holdings and AB InBev.

Pirasath holds an MBA (with Distinction) from INSEAD, is a CFA Chartered holder and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants
