Mragank Jain is an Executive Director in the India team of Affirma Capital and has over 17 years of relevant experience including 11 years of private equity investing experience in India. Mragank has been involved in several private equity investments including Travel Boutique Online, Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services, Interglobe Technology Quotient, Fortis Healthcare, Inox India, Greathorse Chemical, Punj Lloyd, ABG Shipyard, Sutherland Global, Aurobindo Pharma, Craftsman Automation and Ocean Sparkle. Mragank has also been involved in the management of equity portfolio of several listed public and private sector Indian banks.

In his previous roles, Mragank worked for almost 7 years in private equity, management consulting, technology consulting and education areas. Mragank’s roles have included Senior Associate at SUN Group where he worked on technology and renewable energy areas and completed investments in technology and business process outsourcing sectors, Associate at A.T. Kearney where he was involved in several engagements across sectors in India and Middle East. Mragank has entrepreneurship experience in the education sector in India.

Mragank has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and has a Bachelor of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
