Leonard Lee is a Director at Affirma Capital, based in Seoul. Leo joined Affirma Capital (formerly, Standard Chartered Private Equity) in 2018, and has initiated, led or executed 10+ private equity investments and divestments.

Since being with the franchise, Leo has played the roles as project managers and deal team members of transactions such as EMC Holdings, KJ Chemical, JTC, Metanet T Platform, and H-Energy, etc. In addition, he led add-on M&A transactions of the buyout portfolio companies, including GEE (formerly, WIK Green), GBEE (formerly, E&E), and TGIF Korea. Currently, Leo is a board member of KJ Chemical, MFG Korea, JTC, and H-Energy.

Prior to joining Affirma Capital (formerly, SCPE), Leo worked as an investment banking analyst at BDA Partners where he advised M&A transactions in industrials, TMT, and Consumer sectors, serving financial sponsors and conglomerates as clients.

Leo received B.B.A. in finance from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, U.S.
