Hardik Ashar is an Associate in the India team for Affirma Capital and is based in Mumbai.

With 7+ years of professional experience across Private Equity and M&A Advisory, Hardik is responsible for evaluating opportunities across sectors.

Prior to Affirma Capital, Hardik was a part of Xponentia Capital, an Indian mid-market fund for 4 years and was involved in Xponentia’s investment in SpotOn Logistics and its subsequent sale to Delhivery, a leading PE-backed e-commerce logistics platform. He also was part of Xponentia’s investments in a leading direct-to-consumer baby products brand and a company providing flight simulation training to commercial airline pilots. At Xponentia, Hardik was responsible for evaluating opportunities in the healthcare, consumer, business services, and logistics sectors.

Prior to Xponentia Capital, Hardik was a part of the M&A Transaction Services team of Deloitte India for 3 years.

Hardik is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a certified Financial Risk Manager® from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, USA and has completed two levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst®, USA program.
