Anshul Bansal

Associate Director

Anshul Bansal is an Associate Director in the India team for Affirma Capital and is based in Mumbai.

Anshul has over 10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and strategy consulting. He is responsible for evaluating and analyzing new investment opportunities across sectors.

Prior to Affirma Capital, Anshul worked with Oman India Joint Investment Fund (OIJIF) in India and was involved in OIJIF’s investments in Divgi TorqTransfer Systems (Auto components) and PNB MetLife India Insurance (Life Insurance). He also managed portfolio companies across defence, industrials and agro-chemicals space.

Prior to OIJIF, Anshul worked with Edelweiss, a mid-market investment bank, where he specialized on transactions in Healthcare and Consumer sector. Anshul was previously an analyst at J.P. Morgan where he was part of the financial services group.

Anshul has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore and a Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
