Abhinav Dhall

Executive Director

Abhinav Dhall is an Executive Director in the India team for Affirma Capital and is based in Mumbai.

Abhinav has over 18 years of global experience across investing, strategy consulting and operations. Abhinav has a strong track record of investing in market leaders and generating attractive returns. Prior to Affirma Capital, Abhinav was with Standard Chartered Private Equity since 2016 and had been involved with investments across sectors, including Prodapt (IT Services), Redington (distribution and logistics), Sterlite Power Grid Ventures (power). Prior to SCPE, Abhinav worked as a Principal at Multiples Private Equity in India, where Abhinav’s investments included India’s leading players e.g., Delhivery (ecommerce logistics), Arvind Ltd. (consumer branded apparel), Mogae Media (mobile advertising).

Abhinav has been investing in India since 2011. Prior to 2011, Abhinav spent 14 years in the US. Abhinav worked at McKinsey & Company in New York as an Engagement Manager, advising senior managements in the banking, technology, payments and fintech sectors across several geographies ranging from US, Canada and Brazil. Abhinav also worked as a Product Manager at an enterprise tech company called Vizional Technologies in California around the tech cycle of late 90s/early 2000s.

Abhinav has an MBA from Harvard Business School, MS in Management Science (Operations Research) from the Anderson School UCLA, and BS from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai.
