Edward Iskandar

Edward Iskandar is an Associate Director at Affirma Capital and is based in Cairo as part of the MENA Team.

Edward has 9 years of experience in private equity. Prior to Affirma Capital, Edward was a Vice President in the Private Equity Division at EFG Hermes Holding.

Edward joined EFG Hermes in 2015 where he was primarily engaged in analyzing, evaluating, and leading transaction executions across various sectors and industries such as Healthcare, Education, and Infrastructure among others; in addition to, performing various monitoring and reporting functions for several portfolio companies.

Edward graduated from John Molson School of Business – Concordia University in Canada, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance.

Edward is an Egyptian/Canadian National and is a fluent English, Arabic and French speaker.
